Hiking
Skiftesanden is the second sandy beach in the village, located on the east side of Hovden. It is significantly wider than Finnbugsanden to the west and offers plenty of space inland for extensive fish drying racks, which are still actively used today during the fishing season. A wonderful little spot that is quickly reached from the large parking area on the opposite side of the small road leading to the fishing village of Hovden.
