The Wangermeer is a 100 hectare recreational lake on the northern outskirts of Hohenkirchen. There is a large round island in the lake. An approximately 325 m long wooden bridge for pedestrians and cyclists was built to connect the round island to Hohenkirchen. Platforms and resting places invite you to linger on the bridge and turn the structure into a promenade bridge.
