The bell tower is located in Olleros de Pisuerga, Palencia (Castilla y León).
It is situated at the main entrance to the hermitage grounds, right next to the car park and next to the path that leads up to the church. It is integrated into the surroundings of the Las Loras UNESCO Global Geopark.

Hiking
It is a free-standing structure, completely independent of the church, built on a large natural rock that hides an ancient cave at its base. Although its origin is linked to a medieval watchtower due to its strategic position, it was remodeled in the 17th and 18th centuries to house the bells of the rock temple, thus combining its primitive defensive character with religious use.
