At the end of the climb to the lookout area over the Kettle valley, hikers are greeted by a Canadian flag flying on a tall pole. The views over Kettle River, Kettle Creek Campground and surrounding Boundary Country are stunning, and the flag makes for an excellent subject in the foreground of your photos. Sometimes the Canadian is accompanied by other flags for different occasions. Be aware while hiking, as ATVs often use their trail to climb up this viewpoint as well.
