The Campbell River stays close for much of Canyon View Trail, shifting between broad stretches of water, rocky canyon and quieter salmon channels. In autumn, keep an eye on the shallower sections as salmon return to spawn, while anglers are a common sight along accessible parts of the river. Stay back from the edge where the banks become steep or slippery, especially when water levels are running high.
