  • The Koblenz barrage is the last barrage on the Moselle before it flows into the Rhine in Koblenz. It is equipped with a roller weir (in contrast to the other Moselle barrages which are equipped with sector weirs), two locks for large motor cargo ships, a boat lock, a hydroelectric power station and a fish ladder. The entire facility crosses a steel walkway for pedestrians. The barrage at Moselle kilometer 1.94 was completed in 1951, making it the oldest system in the course of the Moselle canalisation.
