The Leap Track climbs through a dry creek bed, with rocks and fallen trees making the route rough and uneven underfoot, so it’s a good idea to wear sturdy footwear before heading out. Higher up, the track passes through a forest of large grass trees before a short scramble brings you to the rocky summit, where several side paths lead to different viewing points. The route is relatively steep in places and can be slippery on the descent, so take your time on the way back down.
