Centenary Walk climbs through open woodland to the top of James Whyte Island Reserve, where panoramic views open across Werribee Gorge and the surrounding countryside. The 4-kilometre return walk crosses Myrniong Creek before a steep climb to Island Lookout, passing through a landscape dotted with seasonal wildflowers. While relatively demanding, the climb is gradual enough to let you take in the surroundings on the way up. At the top, a one-kilometre lookout circuit takes you around the plateau with sweeping views into the gorge on one side and across the Myrniong Creek valley on the other.
