Errigal's North Ridge is a quieter and more dramatic way up to the summit than the standard route from east, which is often cited as the 'Tourist Route'. The North Ridge is a grade one scramble, meaning you'll need to use your hands as well as your feet. It's best saved for when the weather is on your side. You'll need solid mountain nous, as there are pathless sections.
