When doing some archeology research in 1976 they found a hearth here that was part of a home over 2000 years old, being the oldest home in Minnesota. The Three Sisters Garden is a recreation of the plants the Native Americans would have grown in the area. The name Three Sisters comes from the three plants that were grown together to each help the other, Corn, Beans, and Squash.
