Castle Lough is home to a great network of trails, including the popular loop around the lake, a path to the ruins of Drumbannan Fort, trails to a memorial to those who died at Rebel Hill in 1798, and more. The paths are well-signposted and you could spend hours and hours exploring the wider woodland.
