Birdwood Gully winds through sandstone bushland, with the creek passing beneath rock overhangs and through fern-lined sections of the walking track. As you make your way through the gully, you’ll cross the creek before it joins Springwood Creek, which continues through the surrounding bushland to meet Elkington Creek further along. The shade of the vegetation and sandstone walls keeps the gully cool and green, with lovely small waterfalls that appear along the creek after rain.
