This rusty WWII tank is an unexpected find in this area. The Churchill Mk11 Tank is believed to have broken down whilst Canadian troops were based in the area. It was then used as target practice by soldiers and is now riddled with bullet holes. If you are hiking the South Downs Way, it is worth a short detour to see this.
