And suddenly there is forest - at least, that's how it seemed to me when, after a steep ascent through a very narrow part of the gorge, I was no longer walking on a rocky path with a few rather small trees along the roadside, but on partly thick layers of leaves, comfortably walking a flatter section through beech forest - partly so dense that it became quite gloomy compared to before. Pleasant change after the rocky path beforehand.
