The Mill Run Trail is a 5-kilometre fine gravel path that follows the Speed River between Hespeler and Preston. It traces the route of the 1896 Galt, Preston, and Hespeler Electric Railway from Sheffield Street, passing under Highway 401 and ending at Riverside Park. This section runs through the Chilligo conservation area and the former Idylwyld Park, with beautiful views of the river. It's an easy, flat route with plenty of great spots to stop by the water and enjoy the scenery.
