The Odle group (Dolomites) marks the border between Val di Funes (of which they are the symbol) and Val Gardena, it is part of the Puez-Odle Natural Park. The chain is divided in two by the Forcella del Mezdì. On the east side there is the central part with the Sass Rigais (3025 m), on the west the part of the "Odles", which in Ladin means "needles".
