Ioulis (Chora) is the capital of the island of Kea & is located centrally on the island, on the slopes of the hills of Kastro and Myloi. The town is considered one of the most picturesque capitals of the Cyclades. The village, built on a steep slope, impresses with its colorful buildings and the many stairs, which form a real labyrinth & can lead any tourist astray. Ioulis is car-free and you can only get around on foot.
