The lighthouse of Agios Nikolaos welcomes visitors in the port of Kea. It was built in 1831 in the ruins of the holy church of Poseidon by the French light chamber, at the expense of the municipality of Kea. It is the first lighthouse lit in the Cyclades, and one of the first two lighthouses of the Greek lighthouse network.
