Papa Bear Pond is an important part of the Tiffin Centre for Conservation's wetland network. Encircled by the Mama Bear Wetland and Papa Bear Pond Loop, the pond has boardwalks, benches, and elevated viewing platforms specifically designed for low-impact wildlife observation. The calm waters have floating seasonal water lilies and are teeming with fish, frogs, and migratory birds. This pond is famously home to resident snapping turtles nicknamed “Godzilla” and “Grilled Cheese” whose sightings are a big deal for the children attending the onsite Camp Tiffin programs.
