Forest of the Secret Pond Trailhead, part of Welsh Tract, is a simple dirt lot on the side of 12th Line Road. There is a sign here to mark the trailhead, with a gate shutting it off to cars. The sign states “Simcoe County Forests, Welsh Tract, Excellence in Forestry since 1922” and it sates that this parcel of land is open to hiking, cross-country skiing, horseback riding, dog walking and biking.
