The westernmost headland of the Wittow peninsula is known as the "Bug". The southern part of the Bug has been part of the Western Pomerania Lagoon Area National Park since 1990. Since the area was once a restricted military area, nature could develop here undisturbed.

Natural history tours are offered on the bow, which can be booked through the tourist office in Dranske.
