The extensive grounds can be viewed alone or during a guided tour. In the season and during special events, locals in traditional costume demonstrate old handicraft techniques and you get a good insight into the life of the Vikings. In summer, interested people from all over the world meet here for various festivals and events. Then there is a lot of activity on the small island and you can stroll through the medieval markets.
