Carrier Road is a gravel road that climbs from the Susquehanna Valley into the forested hills north of Lock Haven. The largely graded surface makes for enjoyable gravel riding, with the challenge coming more from the sustained climbing than technical terrain. Much of the road follows wooded stream valleys.
