From the parking lot on Nordvarangerveien, you can cover the 60 meters of altitude to Klubben in a short time. This is a sacred mountain of the Sami, who buried their dead here in the scree field and held sacrificial rites from 400 BC to about the 17th century. Reindeer antlers, burnt reindeer bones, and fish bones were found. The view from Klubben extends far over the Varangerfjord.
