Krumme Rieth Observation Tower – View of the Meißendorfer Teiche

The Meißendorfer ponds with the Bannetzer Moor are a nature conservation and bird sanctuary of first class. The term "ponds" is probably understated, because who conquers this fascinating corner of the South Heath, thinks more of a mature lakes landscape.Here you can come in harmony with nature, because peace and relaxation around the lakes are paired with the beauty of the flora and fauna. A 4.6 km long hiking trail around the Hüttensee gives active holidaymakers the wonderful opportunity to look at the lakes from many angles. From the circular walk around the Hüttensee and its lookout tower on the south bank, there are wide views of the nature reserve. The inclusion of a binoculars is recommended.
