    From the Wehdemer Klei you have a beautiful view of the surrounding area when the weather is clear. Starting in the southwest you can look as far as Bad Essen, further east you can see the individual towns along the Wiehen Mountains up to the Kaiser Wilhelm Monument in Porta Westfalica. Looking east, you can see the cooling towers of the power plant in Lahde on the Weser and not only the very close wind turbines in Oppendorf but also the numerous, more distant plants in Sulinger / Nienburger Land.
