Heritage Tramway Walk follows part of the old Buderim-Palmwoods tramway, which carried produce, fruit and timber from the mountain to Palmwoods from 1914 until the line closed in 1935. It’s a 4-kilometre return walk through subtropical forest, following the tramway’s gently graded route with benches and interpretive signs along the way that tell the story of Buderim’s early transport and development. The track is wheelchair accessible, although the gravel surface can become muddy after rain, so sturdy footwear is a good idea in wet conditions.
