Anakie Gorge Picnic Area is the main starting point from the Gorge Road end, with a dedicated car park, picnic tables and toilets before you head onto the track. The Anakie Gorge Walk starts directly from here and follows Stony Creek into the gorge, so itβs an easy place to get organised before setting off. The final approach along Gorge Road is unsealed, but generally suitable for regular cars in dry conditions.
