Woodland Hills Walk starts from the Somerton Road Picnic Area, crossing the footbridge before climbing gradually through open woodland towards the higher ground. The payoff is a quiet viewpoint over the surrounding plains, with a much broader sense of the landscape than you get lower down. You can also reach the same outlook from the Woodlands Homestead, so it works well as either a short out-and-back or part of a longer loop.
