Hanging Rock Lookout sits 46 metres above the Shoalhaven River and gives you one of the best views on the walk, looking across the river, bushland and distant hills. It’s right near Nowra Showground, so you can reach it without doing the full circuit, but it also works well as the final stop on Bens Walk. The lookout is fenced, and the rock itself juts noticeably out over the valley below.
