Shipsterns Lookout is a short detour from the Cape Raoul Track, with views west towards Shipstern Bluff and along the Tasman Peninsula coastline. It’s worth adding even if Cape Raoul is your main goal, as the angle here is completely different from the better-known lookout farther along the track. The path to it branches clearly from the main route, and there’s seating at the lookout if you want to stop for a few minutes.
