Woodman Point Regional Park is a 54-hectare coastal reserve at Coogee with a layered history. It was once a failed settlement, a quarantine station, and an explosives reserve, with the former munitions magazines and quarantine station now listed on the State Register of Heritage Places. These days it’s a popular spot for coastal walking, with paths winding through the park’s bushland and along the shoreline, picnic areas, beaches, and beautiful views out over Cockburn Sound and Owen Anchorage.
