The Herrnrast pilgrimage chapel stands on a slight hill, surrounded by a group of trees.
A church was probably built on this site in 1599. From the beginning of the 19th century until around 1870, Herrnrast was very popular with pilgrims. The many votive offerings in the eastern side niche of the church still bear witness to this today.translated by•April 14, 2020
