The Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption church in Babeau has an interesting history: while the current building was erected in 1772, it stands on the exact site of an old priory dating from 1318, of which no visible traces remain. The church also houses remarkable furniture from the former Benedictine abbey of Saint-Chinian.
