The Arveyron is a tributary of the Arve that flows from the rapidly retreating Mer de Glace into the Chamonix Valley. The Promenade des Bourses follows its final stretch towards the centre of the town, where it meets the Arve. By following the river east and crossing it, you can access the trails that lead to the excellent and technically easy Voie Caline and Voie Princesse sport climbing routes.
