Goleby Esplanade Foreshore is a protected stretch of coastal parkland along the edge of Moreton Bay, where the path hugs the shoreline with open water views across to the islands in the distance. The foreshore is lined with mangroves and tidal wetlands, and at low tide the mudflats are teeming with wading birds picking through the shallows for food. It's one of the most picturesque spots along the Cleveland foreshore, where the bay opens up, and the path feels genuinely removed from the surrounding suburbs.
