I do wonder if they will ever reconnect the bridge, it's always a curiosity to pedal past. Plus today I had a sheriff driving down the bike path looking for a lost German Shepard which was also interesting.

You may wonder about the backstory of this "Bridge to Nowhere." In years past, we would bike this elevated boardwalk across the Minnesota River floodplain, cross the Minnesota River on a railroad bridge, and connect to the Minnesota Valley State Trail, which led to Shakopee. Alas, the boardwalk is no longer accessible, and the bridge across the Minnesota River has been removed.
