Amazing scenaries and different landscapes. Erica azorica trees and laurissilva forest will allow you to observe the smallest bird of Europeu: the azorean goldcrest. Also the high point "miradouro" is an amazing opportunity to see the Caldeira of Guilherme Moniz. We made this trail with out two children: 2 years on a Kangoroo and 8 years. Both enjoyed (the beginning is always up and more difficult) but it worth it.
