The Winshäuser pond is the namesake of the nature reserve surrounding it. Some rare animal and plant species find an important retreat here. Tree frogs, little grebes and the common emerald dragonfly are just a few examples of the animals that cavort here. For us humans there is a bench here where you can enjoy the peace and quiet.
