Surfs Up is rated a blue square for mountain bikers who want to enjoy this singletrack. It provides a fun, undulating downhill descent for riders, and is often used to bypass riding the dusty, exposed forestry gravel roads. This trail can, of course, be used by hikers and trail runners as well, and it passes a historical zone of Cunning Stunts, which was a legendary, old-school North Shore-style wooden stunt trail that has since been decommissioned and reclaimed by nature.
