The North Bank Trail follows Red Deer River from Heritage Ranch toward Bower Ponds, with a standout view from the pedestrian bridge along the way. Bower Ponds makes an easy rest stop with washrooms, a concession and paddle boats, while the trail beyond offers plenty of chances to spot wildlife on the way to Three Mile Bend.
