Before the singletrack starts and you would have to carry the bike over one of the Jöchle, we took a break at the stream. Dreamlike tranquility, surrounded by blooming alpine roses with a view down the valley. Who loves the peace, is right here. Best to take a good snack.

Mountain biking
Unfortunately, signposting is officially prohibited from Alp Vergalden. The landlady said to cycle OK up here and be back by 5pm. Pushing over the yoke no longer seems desirable, but would not have been prevented either. Gargellen generally does not seem to be geared towards mountain biking.
