Hajka is an artificial reservoir on the Radew River in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. It is located in the communes of Manowo and Świeszyno, very close to your location. The reservoir was created between 1912 and 1926 as a result of the construction of a hydroelectric power plant. The main attraction is a wild beach there.

The Niedalin hydroelectric power plant was built in 1911-12 by the then owner of these lands, rotmistrz Kartz von Kameke. The Polish name of Lake Hajka and the German name of the Heyka power plant originated from the surnames of the main shareholders of the company: von Heydebreck and von Kamecke (the German company name was Radue Überlandzentrale Heyka G.m.b.H). It was managed at that time by the Energy Plant from Białogard (Überlandzentrale Belgard), established shortly before, on September 27, 1910.
