The Sheep River flows east from the Rocky Mountains through the foothills of Kananaskis Country, carving an expansive valley through the forest and slopes of the rugged mountain range. This is a great spot with a nice bench for an excellent vantage point over the river below, and while you’re here, keep an eye out for bighorn sheep grazing on the surrounding slopes.
