Cycling
The name of the Kymenlaakso region means “the valley of the Kymi River” (Kymijoki in Finnish), which is one of the largest rivers in Finland. Its capital, Kotka, is located in the river’s delta and is home to Finland’s largest maritime port. Another major city in the region, Kouvola, is known as an important railway hub.
