Mountain Biking Highlight
The Andechser Bräustüberl consciously cultivates its centuries-old tradition as a pilgrimage. His story is as varied and multifaceted as that of the whole Holy Mountain.
As a visitor, bring your own snack and enjoy a tasty Andechs beer. But even those who come without bread basket will find a large selection of cold and warm Andechs delicacies. On fine days, the Bräustüberl terraces also have a magnificent view of the Bavarian Alps and the magnificent landscape.

The Andechs Monastery was originally built as a pilgrimage church and is located on the "Holy Mountain" Andechs, the second largest pilgrimage place in Bavaria. After the Counts of Andechs died out in direct line, here in 1455 the Benedictine Monastery was founded to house a relic treasure found here a century earlier.
