Caves track makes up the majority of the Caves Circuit walk, and is a moderately challenging rainforest walk through the ancient forests of Lamington National Park. The route winds underneath towering Antarctic beech trees, crosses mountain creeks, and passes several rock overhangs and caves beneath the park’s impressive rhyolite cliffs. It’s a beautiful walk that offers a fantastic opportunity to see and learn about the area’s unique volcanic geology and history, with plenty of chances to spot native birdlife along the way.
