Suonen are historic irrigation channels that have been diverting precious meltwater and mountain water to meadows and fields for centuries – in many places, they are still in operation today. The narrow path follows the babbling water through the varied cultural landscape. You will repeatedly enjoy beautiful views of Simplon Dorf and the surrounding mountains.
