Elder Park is a well-known riverside park situated on the southern bank of the River Torrens (Karrawirra Pari) in the heart of Adelaide. It’s famous for its historic rotunda, spacious lawns, and beautiful views of the Adelaide Oval across the river. The park is also a venue for major community events, including the Adelaide Festival, Carols by Candlelight, and Symphony Under the Stars. It is one of the city’s most popular public spaces, with walking paths, plenty of benches, and you can even book a river cruise or rent a paddle boat to explore more beyond the park.
