This walking track follows a flat, sandy path for about 5 kilometres through one of the best coastal dune systems in Melbourne. Running behind the beach from Keast Park to Mile Bridge, it passes remnant Coast Banksia woodland, tea-tree thickets, and other native vegetation that provide habitat for more than 100 bird species. There are multiple beach access points, picnic areas, and beautiful views across Port Phillip Bay. It’s an easy walk that’s perfect for bird watching or a casual stroll.
